HOLIDENT RULES

#1 SCIENTIFIC APPROACH: "You will be in safe hands under scientific approach"

At Holident, we only work with dentists who graduated from Turkey’s top-class faculties. You may well benefit from the knowledge and experience offered by more than one specialist – particularly if your treatment is more complex.Whether you require endondontics, orthodontics, a general anesthetic, periodontology or implantology, you will be in the hands of an expert in each.

howmany

Calculating the number of composite bonding restorations you may  need is quite simple. When you look in the mirror and smile, the number of teeth visible in your smile generally indicates how many teeth may be included in your smile makeover.
A useful tip: the upper teeth make up the majority  of a smile's appearance.  For this reason, many of our patients
achieve excellent results with composite bonding on the upper teeth combined with laser whitening on the lower teeth.

If you send us a smiling photograph, our dental team will be happy to assess your case and provide the most effective
treatment recommendations for your smile.

TIPS

Top teeth are most visible part of our smile.

If you are happy with
bottom teeth, you can have laser whitening

on bottoms and bonding on  top teeth only.

#2 PRICING:"We will only recommend the treatment you need"

At Holident, we have never pushed our patients towards the treatment which costs the most. If you only need six crowns, we will never recommend more and, if there is a chance of preserving a natural tooth, we will make every effort to do just that.

HOWLONG

Composite bonding is a form of dental artistry. It is performed entirely by hand using fine sculpting instruments, high-quality aesthetic composite materials, and a special curing light that hardens the composite layer by layer.

Because every tooth is individually sculpted, the treatment is highly detailed and typically takes 45–60 minutes per tooth.

For up to 10 teeth, one full treatment day is usually sufficient. If any minor refinements or adjustments are needed, we may schedule a short follow-up appointment the next day.

If you're having both your upper and lower teeth treated, the procedure is usually completed over 2–3 consecutive days.

The treatment is generally pain-free, so injections are not usually required. All you need is a little patience while we carefully craft your new smile.

#4 GUARANTEE:"Aftercare is a part of our service"

Even though less than 1% of our patients need to return for repeat treatments we still offer a five-year guarantee on crowns and veneers. Any which break or fall out will be replaced free of charge.

COMBINING BONDING or VENEERS
WITH LASER WHITENING

Your top front teeth are the most visible part of your smile so it’s quite common for patients to concentrate on those at the beginning and to opt to have them crowned. However, there are options for your bottom teeth too:

·         Patients can opt to have their top teeth crowned and then choose laser whitening for the bottom ones to enhance their smile.

·         It is possible to complete the treatment in two visits. The bottom teeth can be completed during the second appointment.

·         The treatment can usually be completed during two (sometimes three) appointments booked over five days. The first appointment would normally last approximately three hours and the second to fit the crowns about an hour. If needed you will be called for third appointment in case of any small adjustment after 1-2 days.

Please visit our whitening page to find out more about our laser-whitening technology.

CROCKED TEETH SOLUTIONS

Orthodontic treatment is the most effective way to correct crooked teeth. If desired, veneers or crowns can still be placed after orthodontic treatment to further enhance the appearance of your smile.

That said, some patients prefer veneers or crowns as an alternative to traditional braces or clear aligners. Composite bonding, however, is generally not a suitable option for correcting severely crooked teeth.

MISSING TEETH SOLUTION WITH BRIDGES

There are two methods we use to replace missing teeth:

1. Bridges

2. Implants (more information is available on our Implants page)

Implants are lifetime solution and are preferable if the following conditions can be met:

• You have enough healthy bone.

• You have enough space between the teeth and around the gap.

• You don’t have diabetes.

• You don't have anchor teeth for a bridge.

Bridges are another option to replace missing teeth and offer the following advantages:

• They are more affordable.

• A fitting can be completed in one visit.

Before and after images of bridges fitted by Holident Dental Hospital can be viewed below.

Composite Bonding – Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is composite bonding?

Composite bonding is a cosmetic dental treatment that improves the shape, colour, and appearance of your teeth using a tooth-coloured

composite resin. It is carefully sculpted by hand to create a natural-looking smile, usually without removing healthy tooth structure.

2. Who is a good candidate for composite bonding?

Composite bonding is ideal for people with chipped teeth, small gaps, uneven edges, worn teeth, minor discoloration, or slight misalignment. During your consultation, we'll assess whether bonding is the most suitable treatment for your smile.

3. How long does composite bonding last?

With good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups, composite bonding typically lasts between 2 and 5years. Avoiding habits such as nail biting, chewing ice, or opening packages with your teeth can help extend its lifespan.

4. Does composite bonding damage your natural teeth?

No. In most cases, composite bonding requires little or no preparation of the natural tooth. This makes it one of the most conservative cosmetic dental treatments available.

5. Is composite bonding painful?

No. Composite bonding is a comfortable, minimally invasive procedure and usually does not require injections or anaesthesia.

6. Can composite bonding fix crooked teeth?

Composite bonding can improve the appearance of mildly crooked or uneven teeth. However, if the teeth are significantly misaligned, orthodontic treatment is usually the healthier and more predictable option.

7. Can composite bonding whiten my teeth?

Bonding itself doesn't whiten natural teeth, but the composite material is selected in your desired shade. If you are considering teeth whitening as well, we usually recommend whitening first so the bonding can be matched to your brighter smile.

8. How many days do I need for composite bonding in Turkey?

For up to 10 teeth, treatment is usually completed in one day. If both the upper and lower teeth are being treated, most smile makeovers require 2–3 consecutive days.

9. Is composite bonding better than veneers?

Neither treatment is universally better—it depends on your goals. Composite bonding is more conservative, quicker, and easier to repair, while porcelain veneers are generally more stain-resistant and longer lasting. We'll recommend the option that's best for your smile.

10. Why choose Holident for composite bonding in Fethiye?

At Holident, every bonding treatment is handcrafted by experienced cosmetic dentists using premium composite materials. We focus on creating natural-looking smiles that complement your facial features while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.

11. Can composite bonding close gaps between teeth?

Yes. Composite bonding is an excellent solution for closing small to moderate gaps between teeth without the need for orthodontic treatment in many cases.

12. Can chipped or broken teeth be repaired with composite bonding?

Absolutely. Composite bonding is one of the most common treatments for repairing chipped, cracked, or worn teeth, restoring both their appearance and function.

13. Will my composite bonding look natural?

Yes. Our dentists carefully match the colour, shape, and translucency of the composite to your natural teeth, creating a smile that looks balanced and natural rather than artificial.

14. Can I eat normally after composite bonding?

Yes. You can usually eat normally shortly after your appointment. However, we recommend avoiding very hard foods and biting directly into hard objects to help protect your bonding.

15. Does composite bonding stain over time?

Composite resin is more resistant to staining than many people expect, but it is not completely stain-proof. Regular brushing, professional polishing, and limiting coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking can help maintain its appearance.

16. Can composite bonding be repaired if it chips?

Yes. One of the biggest advantages of composite bonding is that it can usually be repaired quickly and easily without replacing the entire restoration.

17. Is composite bonding reversible?

In many cases, yes. Since little or no healthy tooth structure is removed, composite bonding is considered one of the most conservative cosmetic dental treatments available.

18. Can I have composite bonding after orthodontic treatment?

Yes. Many patients choose composite bonding after braces or clear aligners to perfect the shape, size, and symmetry of their teeth and achieve the ideal smile.

19. What materials do you use for composite bonding?

We use premium-quality composite materials from internationally recognised manufacturers to achieve natural aesthetics, excellent durability, and long-lasting results.

20. How do I care for my composite bonding?

Looking after composite bonding is simple. Brush twice a day, floss daily, attend regular dental check-ups, and avoid using your teeth to bite hard objects or open packaging. With proper care, your bonding can remain beautiful for many years.
