One of the advantages of being based in the beautiful Mediterranean harbour town of Fethiye is that our patients can often combine their treatment with a relaxing holiday.
For example, if you are booked in with us for veneers or crowns, there’s no need to worry about the aesthetics as you will never leave the hospital without your full-mouth smile as temporary teeth are all part of process.
In all, we would anticipate all your treatment being completed within a week but we’d always suggest our patients consider a two-week stay in the area both for their comfort and to allow them more time to take in the spectacular scenery and amazing hospitality the region has to offer.
It’s up to you of course but, if you are considering crowns or veneers at Holident Dental Hospital, this is what your packed itinerary could look like:
ÇALIÅž BEACH * FETHIYE FISH MARKET * FETHIYE MARINA * PASPATUR OLD TOWN

After a leisurely breakfast, join us at the Holident Dental Hospital for your first appointment.
You will need to allow at least a couple of hours for our specialist dental surgeons to file your teeth in preparation for your new crowns and veneers.
However, the first appointment may also include some restorative work and the fitting of your temporary teeth, allowing you enjoy the interim period before your next visit with full confidence in your smile.
Even if you choose an afternoon appointment, you will still probably have time afterwards to enjoy some downtime, which could include a short trip across Fethiye Bay by water taxi to the popular resort of Çalış.
Actually a suburb of Fethiye, the community is hugely popular among visiting and resident foreign nationals and enjoys a long, seaside promenade lined with bars and restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world.
Most of them also overlook the beach famous for its spectacular sunsets and as a nesting site for sea turtles in the summer. The top end of the beach includes beach clubs offering water sports and was also used as a location on the James Bond film, Skyfall.
Another alternative even closer to our dental hospital is Fethiye’s charming and atmospheric old town known as the Paspatur. It’s home to narrow shady streets lined with trinket shops as well as colourful and quirky local restaurants and cafes selling traditional Turkish street food.
However, if you stay a little longer, the alleyways come alive as the locals head to town for their evening recreation and entertainment, with bars and restaurants sometimes hosting live music and dance nights, often sparking the Turkish love of spontaneous celebration.
Also close by is Fethiye’s Fish Market – the ideal place to enjoy the very best Mediterranean seafood. The central area is lined with stalls where you choose your fresh fish. Once you’ve done that, you simply choose one of the surrounding restaurants to cook it to perfection.
Once again though, be ready to experience genuine and authentic Turkish hospitality. You may need to have a little money tucked away for a roaming string quartet who may serenade you at your table.
GÖCEK ISLANDS (12 ISLANDS OF FETHIYE)

What better way to enjoy some peace and quiet than aboard a boat heading out on the famous Fethiye 12 Island Tour?
For a remarkably reasonable price, your trip will include a barbecue lunch of chicken or fish with fresh salad and pasta while most of the vessels departing the harbour at around 10am are also equipped with the own fully-stocked bars and ice cream fridges.
Be aware the 12 Island Tour doesn’t include a dozen stops; it refers to the number of islands you pass along the way. However, it does usually take in five or six moorings where you can swim or snorkel or just relax, enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine and get started on your tan.
Some of the boats revel in a lively party atmosphere with plenty of music; others cater for passengers who prefer a more peaceful cruise. Some even switch from engine to sail to offer a real sense of adventure as you listen to the sound of the sea rushing along the hull and keep an eye out for sea turtles or - if you’re very lucky – maybe a dolphin or two
SAKLIKENT GORGE * TLOS ANCIENT CITY

It’s another free day today so why not fill it with a little exploration out and about in the mountains which surround Fethiye?
There are plenty of options but among the most popular is a trip to the spectacular Saklikent Gorge - a stunning chasm 300m deep with a stream bed at the bottom which it’s possible to walk along in the drier summer months.
Although it’s around 50kms from Fethiye in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, it is possible – and inexpensive - to catch a dolmuÅŸ there and back. However, there are also plenty of organised safaris, many of which take in visits to some of the long-drop waterfalls nearby, the ruins at nearby Tlos, a river rafting experience or lunch at one of the fresh-water trout farms.
The mouth of Saklikent Gorge is also lined with souvenir stalls and trinket shops as well as riverside restaurants where it’s possible to dine with your feet still dangling in the cooling waters
HELP BEACH and SEA&ME BEACH

If It’s time for your second visit to the dental hospital today – only for a check-up or second stage of your dental treatment- you can enjoy your day around the city centre and closest beachs. There should still be plenty of time to relax or explore afterwards so why not pack your swimwear, shades, sun lotion, a bit of music and a good book and head for the beaches around the Fethiye peninsula.
Many have been rejuvenated relatively recently and now offer luxury experiences, including sunbeds and parasols, atmospheric beach-side bistros and bars playing chilled music and serving cocktails, light lunches and snacks. Do you know that; amazing beach clubs of Fethiye 'Help Beach' and 'Sea&Me Beach' are just 10 minutes to Holident Dental Hospital.
Don’t be surprised if you find yourself witnessing a wedding as the sun sets but, as darkness falls, so the beach parties begin with some venues arranging live music nights, fire shows and other entertainment. Don’t be too late to bed though as we hope to see you soon.
KAYAKÖY & GEMILE BEACH

If you’d like to take it easy, you could visit the peaceful and enchanting village of Kayaköy, just a 20-minute taxi or dolmuÅŸ ride from central Fethiye but home to a fascinating “ghost village” with a story to tell which has inspired books and attracted Hollywood film stars.
The ruined stone houses overlook an authentic Turkish community dotted with restaurants and bars serving European, Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine with rides around the neighbourhood possible on horseback, by horse and carriage or even by camel.
Another alternative would be to take in any parts of Fethiye itself you might have missed earlier in the week or perhaps just an afternoon relaxing by your hotel pool.
